Social norms of housing and standards of consumption of communal services are determined by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 409 dated 06.08.2014. These standards are used to calculate benefits.
Basic standards:
Apartment building management services:
- For one person — 21 square meters. meter of total area.
- Additional per family — 10.5 square meters. meter
Calculation example:
For a family of three, the benefit is calculated on 73.5 square meters. meters (21+21+21+10.5).
Home heating services (thermal energy, electricity or gas):
- For one person — 21 square meters. meter of heated area.
- Additional per family — 10.5 square meters. meter
For certain categories of beneficiaries:
- Families of war veterans or victims of Nazi persecution, which consist exclusively of disabled persons, have the right to a higher standard when using natural gas for individual heating:
- For one person — 42 square meters. meters of heated area.
- Additional per family — 21 square meters. meter.
Important:
If the actual area of the housing is less than the specified standards, benefits are provided for the actual area.
